9Lyrics ("we", "us", or "our") operates https://9lyrics.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect limited information to operate the Service:
- Usage and server data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring pages, and timestamps, collected in standard server logs.
- Search and request data: search terms and song requests you submit through the Service.
- YouTube integration data: When the 9Lyrics administrator connects the 9Lyrics YouTube channel, we receive and store OAuth access and refresh tokens, the channel ID, video IDs, video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails), and comments created through the YouTube API.
We do not ask visitors to connect their personal YouTube accounts, and we do not access the YouTube accounts of visitors.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
- To display synchronized lyrics, artist pages, album pages, and related content.
- To publish videos to the 9Lyrics YouTube channel, set thumbnails, add comments, and update video descriptions.
- To respond to song requests, corrections, and support messages.
- To detect abuse and comply with legal obligations.
YouTube API Services
The Service uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to the 9Lyrics YouTube channel. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Our use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
Limited Use: We use Google user data only to provide the features described in this policy. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We retain OAuth tokens until the 9Lyrics YouTube channel is disconnected or you ask us to delete them. Video metadata is retained while the related video is published or while it is needed to operate the Service. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
You can revoke the Service's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of data we store, contact us at [email protected].
Cookies and sessions
The Service uses session cookies and related storage to keep the site working and to secure the administrator area. We do not use advertising cookies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
